SSL certificates are automatic
Good news: you don’t need to do a thing. Every domain you add to your website gets a free SSL certificate from Let’s Encrypt automatically. That’s what puts the padlock next to your web address.
It can take up to 30 minutes to be ready. Until then, we use a temporary certificate, so your browser may show a security warning. That’s normal, and it goes away once the real certificate arrives.
The certificate needs your domain to point to us first. If you still see a warning after 30 minutes, check your nameservers. See How to update your nameservers.
