How to add a domain redirect
A redirect sends visitors from one web address to another automatically. It’s useful when a page has moved, or when you want an old address to lead to your new site.
- Log in to the control panel. (First time? See How do I access my hosting control panel?)
- Click the website you want to add the redirect to.
- On the website dashboard, click Redirects.
- Click Add redirect.
- Choose the type of redirect:
- 301 if the move is permanent. This is the one most people need. It also tells Google about the move.
- 302 if the move is temporary.
- Choose the domain, then enter the address visitors should be sent to.
- Click Add.
