How to update your nameservers

Nameservers tell the internet where your website lives. If your domain is registered with another company, you need to point it to us so your website shows up.

Moved your domain to FiwiWeb? You can skip this. We update the DNS as part of the transfer.

Our nameservers

  • NS1.fiwihost.net
  • NS2.fiwihost.net

You’ll also find them in the email we send when your hosting is activated.

Changes usually work within a few hours, but can take up to 48 hours to reach everyone. Your website may not show up right away. That’s normal.

Use email on this domain? Changing nameservers can affect your email. Before you switch, open a ticket and we’ll help you keep it working.

Find the company your domain is registered with below and follow the steps. Menus change from time to time, so if something looks different, look for a Nameservers or DNS setting on your domain.

Domain at Cloudflare? Domains registered with Cloudflare must use Cloudflare’s nameservers, so you can’t use this method. Open a ticket and we’ll help you connect it another way, or move the domain to us.
