How to reset an FTP account password

Forgot an FTP password, or need to lock someone out? Set a new one.

1. Log in to the control panel.
2. Click the website that has the FTP account.
3. When the website dashboard opens, click the Advanced menu at the top, then FTP.
4. Click the three dots next to the FTP account and click Manage.
5. Click Reset and enter the new password.
6. Click Save.

Remember to update the password in your FTP program too.
