How to restore a backup

Something went wrong? You can roll your website back to an earlier backup.

Heads up: restoring a backup erases any changes made after that backup was taken, and you may not get them back. If you’re not sure, create a fresh backup first.

1. Log in to the control panel.
2. Click the website you want to restore.
3. When the website dashboard opens, click Backups.
4. Find the backup you want and click Restore.
5. Choose what to restore:
   • Website brings back everything: all your files and databases.
   • Custom lets you pick: your files, certain databases, or both.
