How does billing work?

Simple and predictable. You pay up front, we remind you before anything renews, and there are no hidden fees.

You pay up front

You pay for your service before you use it. Hosting is billed for the length you picked when you signed up: monthly, 3 months, 6 months, or yearly.

Website Partner is the one exception. It’s billed monthly, with a 12-month minimum, then it runs month to month.

Prices are in US dollars. You can pay by card or PayPal, and you can choose your local currency at checkout.

Sign up for 3 months or more and your first month is free. Or pay yearly and get a month free. The two offers don’t stack.

If you got the free month, we bill the rest of your term in one payment when you sign up.

We give you a heads-up. We email you at least 7 days before your renewal date.
Your plan renews for the same length. If you signed up for 6 months, it renews for 6 months, unless you cancel first.
Card on file? We’ll charge it. If you’ve saved a card and turned on automatic payments, we charge it on the due date.

The price you sign up at is the price you pay. It isn’t a promo rate, and there are no hidden fees.
